This is the coolest way to teach our kids how to organize closets for each season and sort laundry quickly. While they will not fully compress/reduce the bulk of bulky garments such as winter coats, etc., they will certainly compress bulk and maximize closet hanging space for medium-sized garments such as dresses, shirts, blouses, and lightweight items. My kids love them because they can wear dresses and fold it down on one dress, gym clothes on another, nice shirts on a third, and their favorite play clothes on a third. They sometimes leave them hanging wide rather than folded, and this makes it easy to link groups of the above identical items together. I love that we can easily stow an off-season garment in the back of the closet. At first I only saw small packages of 4 or 6 but as soon as I put them in my shopping cart I realized there were 20 packages. So I decided to buy it instead. For a family of 5, this was the best place to start for closet organization. I plan on ordering more over time and I recommend them not only for the solid space savings but for cleaning out messy closets. It's easier for us to see what clothes we're using, where to find them, and what to remove from old seasons because it's so easy to hang and group items on these hooks. Also, I would like to point out that we use thick plastic hangers to attach these hooks and they fit great. I was curious because I don't like how the metal hangers get tangled in the clothes rail. These hooks will hold any hanger, so hooray!
