This product was reasonably priced but when I connected it from the cable box to my TV I was unable to get a picture. I get a "No Signal" message on my TV. I replaced this cable with a spare cable I already had and the signal from the cable box to the TV was perfect. I have no idea if this is rare with this product or not. I don't understand if "Version 1.3, Category 2, 1080p Mac" is the type of cable that can't be used to connect a TV signal from a source to a TV. And if so, it should be explained in the product advertisement. I assume all HDMI video cables are the same
