Top marks for the sturdiness and finish of the rails. The particle board is durable and the finish is fine for a storage shelf, but it’s not exactly fine to the touch. The top and bottom rails don’t quite line up perfectly which is mildly irritating, but otherwise it assembles fine and feels extremely sturdy. The only other annoyance is that the top and bottom rails are held together only by the middle shelf, so you must have the middle shelf set at 37”. I was hoping to use this as a standing desk at 40”, and I’ve had to compromise a little.
