Review on Ghost Grid Dot Journal By BookFactory: Large 8.5" X 11" Bullet Notebook With 120 Pages - JOU-120-7CW-A(DotJournalNG) by Gary Morris

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Perfect for starters!

This is my first bullet journal. The pages are fairly thick. My choice was between this one and the Lemome, but someone in the reviews of the Lemome said that the Ghost Grid has thicker pages. So far, I've only used my Pentel RSVPs, Staedtler Fine liners, and pencils. No bleeding from any pens or highlighters. I am scared to use my ink pens such as my Pentel gel pens or my Pilot PreciseV5s. Check others reviews to see pen tests.I love using stickers in this. They are somewhat removable sometimes, and the paper doesn't completely shred if you remove one. The paper quality is very good. It feels nice on your fingers. Smooth but not too smooth. I also love that the pages are numbered and they give you a contact page and a couple index pages. I wish they would give you a couple regular lined pages after the index just to write lists of journal page ideas, but obviously you can make your own lines. My ONLY gripe is all the logos and publisher info on the back cover and the inside of the front. It's ugly. I'll cover it with stickers but I would've enjoyed a solid back cover. I do appreciate the plastic covers though. Actually. two gripes. My second one is that it doesn't have an elastic closure. or a piece of elastic for your pen :/I don't understand why dot journals cost as much as a book with words and colors, I feel like these should be half the price they are! I wish the manufacturers would consider that. It's literally maybe 30 words printed through the hole entire book.
