This is a great hair straightener at an affordable price. There are several features that I really like. First, it's a tangle-free cord. It spins freely and easily as I move around my head. I also like the locking mechanism that allows the straightener to stay closed when stored and not get scratched if you put it in a drawer with other products. The panels are smooth with rounded edges, allowing for both straight and curly styles. But the best part about the plates is that they never caught my hair, and I hate pulling my hair when I do. There is a 15 second warm up time for the straightener to go from room temperature to 400° which I find incredible. My other straighteners I've had in the past heat up in minutes and you forget about them. But if you forget it after 15 seconds or after you do your hair, it will turn off automatically after one hour of operation. It's lightweight, easy to close and easy to keep closed. For the price you can't go wrong in my opinion.
