Review on Ultra-Strong Scotch Essentials Permanent Bonding Strips for Lasting Adhesion by Nick Worley

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Use Goo Gone Glue Remover if you messed up that great hem glue.

This hem glue works well. I use it on new pants with a 31 inseam and no one seems to be selling it on the shelves. Also, I'm the most impatient do-it-yourselfer I know and have been taping a cuff on the side of my left leg for the past two months. I simply used Goo Gone Adhesive Remover ($8 for an 8-ounce bottle at Revain) to dampen the general area, waited 15 seconds, and then scraped it off with a flat knife. This is very easy with most heavy, thick fabrics like this. for the manufacture of men's trousers. It's amazing how many people have tried these tapes and panicked when they made just one mistake. Yes, the adhesive is "permanent" unless you use an adhesive remover. After removing the glue, I immediately washed the pants in cold water and air dried them. So please don't worry if like me you make mistakes with these strips. They can be removed and re-attached after washing them in cold water to clean them. Remove the adhesive remover.

Cons
