Review on Spicer 211158X Dust Cap Assembly by Cesar Carter

Used this dust cap on my 1994 Chevy C3500. At first I thought it was the wrong size so I called the manufacturer and they explained at length that it is a very tight fit. Now what I think about it made sense to me, it wouldn't work if it didn't lol. After speaking to them I decided to give it another try, with a little persuasion using a 2x4 and a hammer to mount it to my driveshaft yoke and it immediately popped into a perfect fit. FYI don't try to just hit it with a hammer you will damage it, always use a block of wood and usually a quick hit with a hammer will do the trick. And also before that, apply a thin layer of lubricant around the rubber seal on the inside so that it slides better. Thank you Spicer for a quality product. Tyvm
