Ordered 2 dry grinding peppercorn mill sets. Open the first one and insert new batteries. Pepper edges placed in the bunker and started well. After about 4 minutes the grinder was clogged with pepper and started making a very loud noise like the gears were getting stuck. I looked at his course controller, but he stopped turning. Tried to clear the jam to no avail. I think the second one should work and it did the same. I was able to clear the jam on the second, but it got stuck a second time within a minute. Put them in a box and send them back. The motor seemed able to grind, but the gears didn't seem very good. Also on the first rough adjustment I went from fine to coarser and within a minute everything was fine and then the adjustment knob fell into the grinding jar. Along with a small black piece of plastic. Replaced both and if fine tuned it stays no problem, but if you fine tune it goes away again. The seller offered me money to remove this post. I find that a bit unethical
