I bought this for the extra length as I'm a big fat guy and hate carrying my laptop bag directly under my arm. I bought it on November 27th, received it a few days later, have been using it ever since and on February 17th, on my way to work, my entire bag fell off my shoulder and landed on the floor. The metal on one of the clasps is cracked. I have a 15" laptop, its power cord, a glasses case, a wallet, a tablet and some phone/tablet charging cables in my bag. Not very difficult. I use it to commute to and from work. the bag is in the drawer of the table, at home on the table. There is no explanation other than that the clasps are made of very inferior material and I am fortunate that it has lasted so long. While it would be better if this happened during return, unfortunately heed the warnings of others, this is not worth your money.
