Worked perfectly for my application. I've done a lot of heavy electric guitar mods and ended up having to remove the fretboard tone control but didn't have room for a resonator to fit anything else like a switch. It's subtle and closes the hole in an appealing way in my opinion. I put some tape around the connector for a tight fit and voila! This is a great long-term solution for this use case that doesn't require a permanent tool change.
