I bought these for the first time for my 7 year old granddaughter and the sizing description convinced me they were the right size. However, they were too long for her, so I kept them for myself as a size 8 women's shoe. She wears a child size 3. I think since the description was for GIRLS I wasn't thinking of ADULT female sizing. It worked, although I also needed new socks.
