Initially I was looking for a place for my son to put his iPad, hoping it wouldn't make him nauseous looking at it and not directly on his lap. Well when I put it on the seat I noticed the seats were facing backwards so I tried pulling the seat all the way back but it still wasn't great. I've tried both my car, a Honda Civic, and my mom, a Camry, and they both did the same thing, I think it's made for big cars, straight-backed SUVs. My other issue was that the plastic piece you put the tray in is a little loose so the tray falls forward a bit. My son also loved the cup holders as he doesn't have them on the back and he couldn't even fit his water bottle in them. Therefore, before you buy, check how your seats are usually positioned. Don't worry if they face the ground like most small cars do.
