Costs about as much as our last Aroma kettle with the same capacity. But cooking takes much longer. The processing is not that good. The paint on the edge of the spout looks like rust. The stainless steel body is made from a much thinner sheet metal. Worst of all, even after thoroughly rinsing the insides and discarding the first boil, subsequent boils still have lots of tiny and shiny floating fibers and some tissue in the water. No idea what they are or where they come from. And that unpleasant plastic smell. Now you have to decide if you want to send it back to Revain. Update: We've finally figured out that the "tiny and shiny floating fibers" are actually strands of stainless steel falling from the inner wall of the kettle. The wall has a "brushed" surface. Obviously the residues resulting from the brushing process were not removed. I have now decided to return the kettle.
