We bought this last Christmas for our (then) 4 year old and he loved it! What's not to love about opening a present that combines cars and dinosaurs?While he absolutely loved it, it does require some adult assistance in setting up the track to be like the picture (with the bridge used). The individual track pieces are very, very easy to put together. Our 3 year old was able to put pieces together on her own. But to include the bridge and construct it so that the cars can run underneath the bridge (a big selling point for our kids), more dexterous hands are required.Also, the cars run on a single AA battery that burns out very quickly. Over the last 12 months we have probably replaced the batteries close to 8 times. This, of course, depends on how much your child uses the toy, but ours have been known to be found driving headfirst into a wall hours after they were used last. Stock up on AA batteries.
