You need a CD-ROM drive to program message

Well this product is what it is. This is an inexpensive little fan with LED blades that can be programmed to display a short message. It's small, it doesn't generate enough airflow to stop cigarette smoke from 2 feet away. You can feel the air as long as the fan is a few feet away, but if you're feeling overheated, it won't cool you down. Use software that programs the message displayed by the fan. I remember when CDs first came out they were rave right? But this technology is now obsolete and most new computers and car stereos no longer include it. programmable function of this small fan; That is, of course, unless you buy an external CD player that connects to your computer via USB. External CD players aren't all that expensive these days, but it would still be nice if the maker of this little fan just jumped into the 21st century and provided the software on a stick or SD card. , or even download from a website. So I give this little device an overall rating of 3 stars. I was going to give it 2 stars and still don't think it would be unfair or harsh but you get what you pay for and this unit is only $15 + tax. It is not designed to be high quality and last for years. I suspect I'll live on it for about a year with normal use, and then it'll go in the jar. Will I buy an external CD drive to use the programming feature? Probably no. I don't see the point of spending another $25-$40 on a device that I will only use once on a $15 gizmo.
