This showed up at the perfect time yesterday. I had to install 5 new tamper resistant outlets to replace some old contractor grade junk that has been systematically failing after 17 years of service.The meter worked perfectly with the old sockets (non TPR). Found the hot inlet on the old sockets and the screen went red and the meter beeped loudly. I wasn't sure if a couple of the sockets were on the same circuit, so this was essentially a lifesaver.It didn't seem to work with tamper resistant socket housings and, honestly, this might a good thing. I can get another plug-in meter for those. Safety first.
