They are exactly as described and exactly what I wanted. 20 was a good number for my 7.5 foot tree, but I like them so much I'm considering getting another set. It's real wax that looks like it's dripping. The "wick" does not move, but when it burns it creates the illusion of a moving flame. 1 AA battery per candle. I limit my use to conserve batteries and get through the season without having to (hopefully) change them. Nice packaging that can be reused for storage. 69.99 might be too high a price but I think it was worth it. Sturdy clips that "swivel" so you can adjust the candles to sit upright and straight. They also look beautiful without garlands on the tree, but I would like more candles if they were lit without garlands. Nice upgrade for my tree. Highly recommended.
