I ordered these shorts after fighting in running shorts for the past 3 years. This is a big improvement. So what do you like? The style is nice, mostly black but with touches of color to keep it from being boring. Choose from 7 accent colors or go all black for a minimalist look. Fits as expected. I ordered a waist size to match my jeans and it was perfect. The waist cord feels very strong and is lightweight, which I like. Velcro appears to be of good quality. Triple stitching (flat) on hem to prevent fraying. 100% polyester for maximum breathability. Obviously there are no pockets to pinch an opponent's fingers or toes. The movement is good, although personally I'd like to see around 10% spandex in the material to add a bit more elasticity. However, it doesn't matter much. I can shrimp and knee to elbow without limits so maybe I'm just picky. Also, at $19.99 I paid about half what many other shorts are sold for and I don't think I missed out. This is a good basic short. Buy, drive and enjoy.
