Replaced a pair of Sony WH-1000XM3 with these Bose headphones. Bose headphones are much more comfortable than Sony headphones. I couldn't wear Sony headphones for more than 30 minutes without an earache. Bose headphones can easily run for hours. In terms of noise cancellation, both work well, but the Sony pair was slightly better at canceling noise. The downside to these headphones is that you can't control anything through the headset. Keys when using a wired connection instead of Bluetooth. I figured I could at least still adjust the volume, but even that doesn't work unless the bluetooth is on and the cable is unplugged from the headphones. Another downside is that the headphone cable that plugs into the headset has a small jack (2.5mm?) and the other end is a regular 3.5mm jack. I only mention this because in case of damage it will not be that easy to replace. The Sony pair has 3.5mm jacks on either side of the cable. I would definitely recommend either headset, but prefer the comfort of the Bose QC35ii, despite the slight advantage in functionality and looks over the Sony WH-1000XM3.
