Works as intended. for external sound cards

I bought these to connect a condenser microphone and a headphone amplifier to it. This thing cannot provide any form of phantom power, although with the Neewer phantom power adapter it produces very clear sound from its ADC. His DAC is clean enough, but for some reason I'm plugged into my Bravo Audio V3 headphone amp from the RCA jacks. To be honest I'm not exactly sure if it was a DAC or an amplifier. I'm leaning towards the DAC so I returned it and replaced it with a $40 Behringer model. Which is working now, although maybe it's also because I figured out the best way to shield it from my phone. I don't understand the subject deeply enough to know whether to combine the (nonexistent?) things of an internal amp with my more expensive tube amp. My ASSUMPTION was that the RCA jacks are line level and the 3.5mm jack is basic gain. As for alternatives, I'd like to point out that there are passive cables that do some of the work for this thing. https://www.amazon.com/Kingtop-Adapter-Tablet-Headsets-Version/dp/B01I3A47I4/ And in my opinion the Behringer DAC is much better and much more customizable for just over double the price. If you want to try using the right headphones, this is the best option. . I was quite happy with it when I had it, even if I didn't get to use the RCA output all the time. Hence the five stars despite the return.
