My first 2 pots of iced tea were awful, cloudy and bitter. I then switched to Luzianne ice tea bags and it was perfect. Maybe my first tea bags were old or something? I like the jug but the lid doesn't fit tight so I have to hold it while pouring from the jug. There is also a hole in the lid to put on while brewing. I would rather just leave the lid open when brewing and have a lid that closes completely while I store it in the fridge. I don't like that the top part that brews is shifted to the side where you put the brew pot underneath. When everything is ready and you remove the pot, it either drips onto the counter or you close it and all the tea drops drip back into the pot where you pour the water. I considered buying another brand but found the reviews on this one were better. But for the reasons listed, I wish I had given the other a chance. It's a really good tee and I'll be using it now, but if they don't change this model when I replace it I'll try another brand.
