I've always wanted to get into AIO since I built my computer a few months ago, but I didn't want to bother with a high-end computer and can only comfortably fit a 120mm wheel in my current configuration. So far my performance with the Ryzen 2600 has been great. 30c at idle and no more than 60c at 90% load. But let's be honest, at this price I was just looking for an alternative to one of the many great air coolers on the market (like the Hyper 212). This AIO has some advantages: good anesthesia, good performance and quieter operation than air coolers. The manual that came with it isn't very good, but the installation was easy enough. There are two main issues that come to mind with this AIO. One of them is the insane roar of the main radiator fan, which sounds like a jet plane taking off (source: I live near the airport). I was able to fix this by playing around with my custom fan curves in the Asus bios. Your mileage may vary, but you can always add a fan of your choice. To me it might ruin the look, but try messing around with the fan curves in your BIOS, afterburner, etc. The second issue I have is some sort of nitpick, but the RGB settings on this thing suck. There's no Asus Aura sync, which is disappointing, but to make matters worse, this product isn't even supported by its own Cooler Master software. The lighting can only be controlled with the supplied controller. I could live with that if it weren't for the severe lack of options or even basic presets. I might be missing something, but I think CM only provided RGB technically and shied away from all the features that come standard even on budget RGB products. Many cheap fan kits include Aura support or a good external controller with solid options. Cooler Master could do better, and I (perhaps stupidly) expected more. Overall, I think this cooler is great for AIO beginners, but the lighting options leave a lot to be desired and may require fiddling to fix the fan rattle issue.
