Definitely real leather! I know this for a fact because as you can see from my photos I got tired of the phone call and went to town with my soldering iron! I figured why not try this wallet to make it a little more feminine. If it melted I'd only lose $20, but if it worked it might just enhance what is already the really nice little zippered purse that every woman should have. Please note: This is the perfect zip wallet size for small shoulder bags. In case anyone wants to do the same - I set my soldering iron to 375, found the design on the web, printed it out with a laser and used a regular iron at high speed to transfer the design to the stroke. Remember, if you try this, you won't be able to return the wallet if you later don't like it for other reasons.
