Review on πŸ‘– Columbia Ridge Li Convertible Pant for Big Boys by Sam Hansen

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Mixed experience with Columbia Boys 8-20 Ridge Li Convertible Pants

I recently purchased Columbia Boys 8-20 Ridge Li Convertible Pant in Grill for my son who loves hiking and outdoor activities. Although the pants have some great features, I have mixed feelings about them. First, the material is high quality and durable. Waterproof material and sun protection are especially important for outdoor adventures. The convertible design is also a plus as my son can easily switch from pants to shorts when the going gets hot. However, I think the size is a bit off. I bought the size Large for my 11 year old and it was too big and long in the waist. Too bad the size doesn't match other clothing brands. I also noticed that the leg zippers are not very smooth and difficult to close and open. I'm concerned that this might be frustrating for my son, especially when he needs to quickly change his pants on a hike. Overall, I give the Columbia Boys 8-20 Ridge Li Convertible Pant 3 out of 5 points. While the quality of the material and the convertible design are great, sizing issues and leg zips ruin the overall experience.

Pros
  • durable material
Cons
  • Limited size. Although it comes in a variety of sizes, it may not fit all body types and shapes, making it less comprehensive.
