This is a nice little radio. Seems pretty easy to use. I love that it comes with a phone adapter as I am thinking of getting one. It has a pretty good sound. The flashlight is very bright. Big downside - when I charge my radio with the USB cable, the blue lights don't flash or glow to tell me how much charge it has. The red light for the battery is a little hard to see with old eyes. It also states that you probably can't get a full charge from a solar panel. Another downside is that the instructions say you need to charge the battery at 130-150RPM for 3-5 minutes in the event of a power outage. It may be a bit difficult for the elderly or those with physical limitations. It has some weather stations, none of which will work for me where I am, but I'm sure I'll get clearer reception outside, outdoors. All in all, while I'm disappointed that my charge lights don't seem to work while charging, this seems like something to help in a pinch. I have this to add to my bug and weather bag. I plan to get one for each of my granddaughters so they can charge their phones, listen to the radio and have a flashlight if we lose power due to another storm. In general a good buy, I'm sure it will be useful.
