Very disappointed - doesn't work at all for me

I was so excited about the purchase and so disappointed when I received it. It didn't work for me at all, to the point where I'm wondering if my block is faulty. Everyone else seems impressed at how it makes their hair easier, faster, and less traumatic than a flat iron. YouTube vloggers have posted amazing results. But that wasn't in my experience. I had to use a much higher heat than the straightener to get worse results - my hair wasn't smooth or soft or improved at all and it was much slower with multiple passes. highest settings do nothing. The warm-up also took too long. Advertised 25 seconds? nope! Four minutes. My hair is very easy to straighten. She is shoulder length, thin, graceful and barely waved. Unfortunately they are unruly, frizzy and fly away so at this length they look pretty ugly, air dried but a flat iron on low heat (300F) gets the hang of it quickly. I can iron my hair in about 5-10 minutes. But after it's ironed, it's pretty flat because it's thin and flimsy. Very small body, very little bounce. Considering the videos that beauty bloggers have posted about their results with this comb straightener, I thought it was better than a straightener and more like straightening. Or at least that it's less damaging than a flat iron since you're not crushing your hair between two hot plates. But at the same temperature I use on the iron, it didn't do anything. I picked it up. Nothing yet. I met him again. nope So I cranked it up to the maximum setting. Then he did something, but nothing good. My hair wasn't straight or straight and the strands were sticking out in weird directions. I've watched a lot of videos of other women using them and Timo's how-to videos so I don't think I'm doing it wrong. I know that you need to hold your hair at the end to keep it taut while you comb it and move slowly. But doing exactly what I've seen other women with quite a variety of hair types do with great success has failed miserably. I really don't think it heats up to the temperature it should. I can't imagine exposing my hair to 410F would not straighten it out. And if it really is 410F it will absolutely fry my hair but not straighten it! I am very disappointed in this purchase and am returning it.
