The packaging was a thin, very professional and sophisticated black cover, like the other non-glossy ribbon, so that was misleading to me as well. I thought I ordered the wrong one. The tape cuts itself off because it's very thick because it makes the parts you "layer" very bulky (not "invisible" at all if you have hair on the thinner side, even if it is is a little), and it doesn't hold up very well. For the application process, much less washing, brushing, etc. (even with pressure between flat blades, fingers, and even needle nose pliers) the tape adheres very well to the plastic it's aimed at, so well that it can be peeled off when peeled on a Side it expands and the white bits protecting the top of the double sided tape peel off and stick to themselves in every place they can, then the tape is just a useless ball of tape and that's that Period, or better yet if you're lucky it didn't happen, most of the "individual tapes" are almost all glued together so they all want to come out as one big piece and turn back into a sticky gooey/sticky ball Chaos, that's the waist. Sally's Satin Stran is thinner and stickier and MUCH better overall. I am very disappointed in them! I would not recommend and would not buy again!
