Review on Plugable Active DisplayPort to HDMI Adapter - Seamlessly Connect DisplayPort-Enabled 🔌 Devices to HDMI Displays for Crystal-Clear Ultra-HD Video Streaming (4K 60Hz Support) by Anthony Payton

Cannot be promised 4K/60hz on LG OLED with 8700Ks UHD 630 and 1080Ti

as a replacement until I get a new generation graphics card, after a short search I bought this device. The device was tested first on Intel 8700K CPU iGPU UHD 630 and then on GTX 1080Ti, in both cases it worked fine in 4K/30Hz, but even when you demonstrated 4K/60Hz mode it never worked properly, sometimes it worked but with the flickering [the screen fades and the reapers even for a split second] and the weird white snow, it seemed like it needed some power. I tried to create my own 4K resolutions /60hz and 50hz with different settings and different clock configurations but in every case I got a black screen. I tried the chroma subsampling mode [it uses less bandwidth] but every time I turned it on I got a black screen]. Disappointed, I'm not from the US and use Revain's worldwide international shipping, so shipping for such a small device cost me $8 and took 20-26 days. at amazon, local costs me the same price. Why am I telling you this? Since the Club 3D Display Port 1.4 to HDMI 2.0 HDR Adapter [Model Name: CAC-1080] worked great on both iGPU and GTX 1080 on the first try, no flicker, no digital snow and chroma subsampling worked well. If anyone is reading this, buy the Club 3D adapter, it's only $3-5 more expensive, but it's guaranteed to work, and Club 3D is a well-known brand name too.
