Review on Toshiba EM131A5C-BS Smart Sensor Microwave Oven: Easy Clean, ECO Mode, 1.2 Cu Ft, Black Stainless Steel by Chris Lacasse

We've Moved A new house with no microwave, so I was looking for a countertop. It fits the bill and after a month of use we are very happy with it. I was looking for: - Quick 30 button that didn't require an extra button press to start - Quick Minute button, bonus for 2-6 Quick Minute buttons - Handle to open door - Power >=1000W - Bonus points for small area Due the limited countertop space The only thing that really missed the mark was the footprint, but I've done a lot of comparisons and that footprint is pretty average for a microwave of this capacity. We didn't need a fancy car with all the trimmings. We just needed something to reheat leftovers so we didn't have to use the presets or other features of this microwave. I tried the melt/soften butter function once and the butter boiled away so I don't think they really work that well. Overall we are very happy with this microwave! A desktop microwave with a button instead of a button to operate the door really narrows the choices and I'm so glad we went for it!
