Used to test the tightness of a new PEX installation throughout the home prior to a water test. Worked great. A 3/4 inch male NPT PEX fitting was used to connect to the system. I wrapped the fitting with the supplied teflon tape, there was no air leakage. The Schrader valve is a tight fit on the gauge body; The threads looked factory sealed with some sort of translucent permanent thread sealant. Includes Schrader valve cap. I would say the gauge readings are accurate because both this gauge and the gauge on the system regulator read exactly the same throughout the test. Put 80psi in the system and it will last a week with no change. Definitely recommend for the price and quality.
