When I bought this I got a device that charged via USB but not USB-C. I traded in thanks to Prime and got one that charged through both ports, although the USB-C port got finicky after a few months. My phone beeped intermittently about charging. Mainly because of this, I stopped using this connector, but now, just 7 months after purchasing the device, the USB-C connector completely refuses to work. And yes, I've tried swapping cables and using them on different chargers. I like how thin it is; It fits behind the bedside table where other chargers cannot.
