Review on 🧢 Dritz Knit Picker: Convenient Blue Tool for Easy Knitting Repairs by Heather Shaw

Revainrating 1 out of 5

Poorly made

I have bought dozens of these items over the last 5 years to take care of my dreadlocks. They are just the right size for adding new hair to the roots of the curl between professional treatments. This puts no more strain on the hook than pulling loose threads through a sweater. BUT only 1 out of 4 lasts longer than a month. The most common problem is that the metal part falls out of the handle. It even happened to me when I opened the package. They don't stick well at all. The second most common problem is the "clasp" part falling off or not matching the hook, causing it to catch on hair and get stuck. When I tried to use faulty hooks on shirts and sweaters, The tab often caught more threads/yarn when I pulled it through. LAME. There aren't many similar products in stock that size so I've kept using them... I just think they're $20 each so I'm ordering a few. However, it would be so easy for Dritz to just glue the shafts right into the grip, my goodness why the heck do they always do them like that! 3 because one of them will most likely break right out of the box and the 2nd will break after the 2nd or 3rd use. why the hell do they always make them like that! 3 because one of them will most likely break right out of the box and the 2nd will break after the 2nd or 3rd use. why the hell do they always make them like that! 3 because one of them will most likely break right out of the box and the 2nd after the 2nd or 3rd.

Pros
