When growing my own plants, I often find other uses for dead leaves or branches. This is such a good use of large palm leaves. They work really well. We used them for an overnight pancake and they definitely transfer the heat from the pancake to the hand or knee holding the plate, but it's not that bad and they're great for that. I really like the direct-to-compost design and we took advantage of that on these. These are beautiful disposable plates and they are eye catching if you can believe it about disposable plates. The packaging comes with silica to protect the material from rotting. It's very well done.
