Great product. Definitely the best ammonia treatment. Why? Because it doesn't just restore ammonia to its less toxic form like most treatments do. AmGuard binds it to neutralize the toxic effects of the ammonia, but allows your filter's bacteria to use it and multiply - the only way out of the ammonia crisis. If you reduce ammonia to its less toxic form, not only will your filter not be able to use it, but you will increase the pH of your aquarium, which can kill your fish just as easily as ammonia poisoning.
