This failed on my Xbox One S but I'm not sure if this splitter is the problem after removing it I haven't tried anywhere else. I know the install worked for about a month before my Xbox even started. It took me 1.5 hours to even figure out what the problem was. I had an Xbox side fan, a hidden camera clock, a mini electronic fan (different from and in addition to the side fan) and my external hard drive was connected to this USB hub that plugged into the back of my Xbox. I know it sounds big, but everything worked fine for about a month. Something happened and the Xbox just restarted. I switched things around, turned off the side fan completely as the top fan is more than enough, and plugged it into a USB outlet. I removed that splitter and plugged the clock and hard drive directly into the Xbox's USB ports and everything works fine. It was a bit scary for a few minutes until I figured out what the problem was, I thought my Xbox was fried.
