I wanted a trunk mat that can cover the back of the rear seat, not just a big piece of plastic to cover the trunk, this mat fits my needs. Before purchasing I read many reviews mentioning "aggressive velcro" and "no cut between rear seats" and I can confirm they fixed both of the above issues with design improvements. The Velcro no longer pulls too hard on the trunk material, and there is now a slit between the rear seats. You just have to make sure you install it correctly the first time. To be honest I don't see why we should remove it after installation unless you need to deep clean the car because your dog made a big mess. My golden dogs shed a lot and that's not a problem with this mat, I can easily remove dog hair with a lint roller. The material is fairly water-resistant, so if you spill something, you won't have a hard time washing it up. I recommend it if you're like me and want full coverage of the trunk area.
