They're good just the way they are. I used these in combination with a waterproof mattress pad at Pack N Play, but instead we only bought 2 waterproof sheets because if your baby splashes pee on Pack N Play while changing, it's a hassle to remove the sheets and mattress cover. . I ended up sending one of these to the nanny to use in her Pack N Play, but one of the kids who peed on it during his pull-up basically still had to hose down the mattress pad because the sheet doesn't be liable. That's how waterproof it will be. This is great for easy to take off and wash away the sweat of little kids and so on.
