I bought two of these belts, one olive green and one white. Both arrived quickly (again I have Prime so can't apply) and are in excellent condition. It is not difficult to assemble (yes, it is necessary to assemble). I cut off way less than I needed and wore them for a full week. When I was convinced they were too long, I cut them back off. Simply cut with scissors and burn the free end. DO NOT cut off the metal end. It would be stupid. These are thick bands. I was very pleased. I had (made) other woven straps that were of too thin material and buckled at the back and started to fold. Not so with these belts. They last and look sharp. The buckle is secure and easy to use, and the strap shows no signs of wear after a month of continuous use. The buckle starts to scratch a little, but that's user error. The belt buckle no longer "clicks" on the olive green belt, but buckles onto the white one. It doesn't seem to affect his ability to hold the strap in place, so I'm not worried. For the price and quality they are worth it! Update: Three years later and they're still going strong. I wear them every day. The black main buckle is scratched from daily use, but I handle it pretty roughly. I will spray paint the buckles and they should be like new. Today I bought the third color.
