Test where easy and audible to set up. but I suspect the 300Hz test tones are for offset/anti-skating adjustment. These test tracks are very loud and I don't think 300Hz will rise to +15dB in most pieces of music. After tuning to full range, however, everything seemed to sound clearer. The problem is that I paid $50 for a copy that was far from the center, not good for testing. Everyone should inform Revane that we will not write off the core records for the money they are now worth. If there are enough complaints, I'm sure Revain will be able to make a big impact on publishers/printers' quality control.
