The plating tarnishes quickly on spare parts
Looks cool at first but soon the plating starts to fade and after a year it completely disappears and just remains silver. At these temperatures it gets very hot (although I have to cover it with a cloth to change) and very cold (need to wear gloves). It's a metal, it reacts to temperature like any other metal. Adapter and material are solid.
