DESIGN: Almost every shoe rack on the market, no matter where it's made, is approximately 12" deep, resulting in plenty of room in a 22" deep closet is wasted. . The only issue I have is that the insert on one end of a the bars appear to be set too low; Therefore it will not snap into place with the supplied screw. This will not greatly affect the usefulness of the shoe rack but was annoying. QUALITY: The finish is accurate, there are no rough edges and all parts were included including a hex wrench for assembly and a spare screw for each stand. It looks sturdy, sits flat and is easy to carry in your hand. GENERAL: Aside from the fact that one screw (out of a 48) was not screwed in properly, my only regret on this item is that the manufacture didn't get anyone a job in the US.
