I've never had a silk pillowcase before but thought about one. After waking up again with pain, headache, and allergy symptoms, I snapped up and bought a good quality memory foam pillow and this pillowcase. The pillowcase came quickly, soft and good quality. I will be hand washing this personally so I don't know how it will hold up in the machine wash. The zipper looks good and is well tucked away so it's not visible. In my experience of machine washing these items, even good zippers can break after repeated washings. I want this pillowcase to last a long time. After using my new pillow and pillowcase last night, I woke up with no headaches or allergy symptoms. Also, the head of the bed is smaller than usual. I sleep soundly and was noticeably cooler despite the humidity. Haven't tested if it improved my bank balance yet but fingers crossed. Of course, this isn't the highest quality pillowcase - not in this price range - but it's worth the money. The silk is not flimsy, there is no feeling of ripping or tearing. Hopefully it will last a long time with good care. I will buy at least one more. Blue peacock is an amazing bright rich color. I am very happy with this pillowcase.
