Review on ๐ŸŽฎ Enhanced PS3 Racing Wheel Controller for Optimal Gaming Experience by Jerome Pritchard

Revainrating 2 out of 5

decent for the price

I bought this wheel because a.) it was cheap b.) at the end of the PS3 era I didn't want to spend 250+ on an outdated wheel and thought I'd hold back , until a good next-gen steering wheel compatible with PS3/PS4 is released. However, I was very wrong about playing this wheel, I just wanted an even prettier wheel, which I will probably do after I finish this review. (save yourself the hassle and just buy a g27) Here's a list of things I don't like about the wheel: 1.) Pedals are automatically shown as Gas as X and Brake as a square (this doesn't work with games though) . which don't recognize X and Square as analog, games like F1 2013 only recognize R2 and L2 as analog). I have to manually remap the pedals to R2 and L2 every time I turn the wheel on, as it resets to the default when I turn it off. In fact, this wheel is not recognized by any game. Therefore you cannot change "wheel settings". It is only recognized as a PS3 controller and you can only use the default settings. 2.) There is a huge steering dead zone. 3.) The steering wheel only rotates about 90 degrees to each side. (this is normal for f1 2013, shit for Gran Tourism) 4.) Accelerator pedal started creaking after the second press, it doesn't affect gameplay but the noise is annoying5.) Suction cups are useless, any hard steering wheel will detach the base from what it is attached to. I've secured it with luggage straps and straps and it still slips and pops out occasionally. (Also, it didn't come with a strap to play on my lap, but that would probably be worse) 6.) No force feedback 7.) The steering wheel is pretty small in my hands. Don't skimp like me, you'll regret it! Instead of getting a g27 for $240 I now lost $60 on this crappy bike on top of what I have to spend on a g27.
