Our two amazons are like day and night. When we got our first bird (the Red Lord Amazon) it was just a chick and we had to hand feed it. When she started eating on her own, we started her to do it. She really likes it, except for the purple ones (I don't know why) in addition to her fresh fruit and veg. She cares more about this brand than any other we've tried to give her. When we tried to give her a different brand, her feathers started to fade and seemed to lose feathers worse than expected. Now our yellow-headed Amazon doesn't seem to like it. But she's a picky eater. I noticed the same thing happened to Reno's feathers and Scarlet's feathers. That leads me to the conclusion that everything about this brand makes their feathers shine, so it must be good for them. The only thing I don't like about them is the smell. It's not exactly a bad smell, it's hard to describe. No strong smell either. This may simply be because we have two birds next to each other. But the smell is not difficult to hide. I only use lemon cleanser.
