I live near Phoenix and play a lot of golf. After two of my friends bought this fan I just had to buy it. Performance and airflow appear to be excellent. Time will tell how distance jumps fare. One caveat about attaching the water tank to the fan: it's connected via a USB port. At first I had trouble getting the two pieces together properly, until I realized that the USB port on the tank actually rotates slightly and the two dog-ears on the tank's plastic mount align with the ears on the fan, then needing a bit of a twist. Seems very safe. UPDATE: Played my first round of golf today when it was attached to my windshield. It went well and I like it. I kept the mister busy most of the time. It sprays water and just cools the blown air a bit, but it's a nice feature. It seemed fairly securely attached to the open/folded windshield, although I took a little care not to hit any big speed bumps, having already smashed two cheaper fans in the process. Let's see how it behaves over time.
