It's on the thinner side, not so much for sun protection as it dries quickly.
There isn't as much sun protection on the thinner side compared to other brands I've seen on thicker shirts, but they dry quickly for swimming. Bought to protect from the sun while swimming.
- The fit was great, we put it on our son while fishing to keep him from burning out in the sun.
