Review on DMC 1769-18 Darners πŸͺ‘ Hand Needles - Pack of 6 by Kristen Reid

DMC1769-18DarnersHandNeedles6-PackSize18-Size=14!

I first bought Cotton Darners #9 needles and they were too thin for me. Second, I bought needles DMC1769-18DarnersHandNeedles6-PackSize18, - coincidentally size=14!-(1): The picture is wrong - in the attached picture 7x different sizes {2x12, 2x14, 2x16, 1x18}; (2): The size I received is actually a 14 instead of the 18 I ordered and 6 packs is this number correct. But since I didn't know which size corresponded to which thickness and length before ordering, the size 14 turned out to be - (A): a point with sufficient sharpness for me; (B): Diameter approximately d = 1.2mm thick (my measurements are very approximate) at the midpoint of the length of a #14 circular needle (x = L/2) and D = 2mm = outer diameter of the needle in the eye (the eye has internal dimensions Do = 1 mm x Lo = 6 mm - enough for me) - I need about this thickness; (C): L=2.5" A length that's a little big but fits me. Changing needle diameter is smooth enough for me. To figure out which size is which, I also have DMC1769-18DarnersHandNeedles7-PackSize14/ 18 ordered - and on it the same picture of 7 sets of different sizes, but it's actually 5 sets of different sizes 2 x 14.2 x 16.1 x 18, and the needle has #18 - (A): point sharp enough for me; (B): diameter approximately d = 2mm thick (my measurements are very approximate) at mid-length of a #18 circular needle (x = L/2) and D = 2mm = outer diameter of needle in eye (the eye has internal dimensions Do = 1.5mm x Lo = 8mm - big enough for me) - that's about the thickness I need; (C): L = 3" length, that's too long but what should I expect , if I guess from my perspective without the "Needle Size Chart - 3D"{#:d;L;D;Do;Lo} for each size#. Size #16 has {16:d;L;D;Do;Lo} parameters between #14 and #18. 4 stars out of 5 is my opinion on the quality of these needles.
