Review on Glass Bottle Cutter Champagne KEBS_MALL by Doris Tran

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Not for me, maybe for you

UPDATE: maybe glass cutting is not for me. I've never tried it before so this purchase was my first try. Remember I'm not an artist and I don't have much patience. So maybe my first review (below) is more of an indication that I shouldn't have bought this product at all than its capabilities. Please note that the company contacted my initial review, expressed their concerns about my dissatisfaction and tried to rectify the issues by providing further instructions, advice and suggestions. They also offer a partial refund of the purchase price. I feel that they are sincere in their desire to please their customers and therefore do not want a refund (either partial or full) as I am at least equally guilty of purchasing a product I am unaware of. I've increased my "star rating" to 3 because while the product may not be for me, it may be for you, and yet it seems like a good, well-run company that cares about customer satisfaction. It's on a standard wine bottle, and the cutting blade doesn't cut, it crushes. Form splinters of glass and do not get into the bottle. Following the instructions of running hot/cold water up to 3 times (always at least 3 times) only started cracking the bottle along the cut line. After 5 tries I never managed to get a single clean cut. Don't waste money on it.
