8 1/2 M Alpine Green (more brown) Had high hopes for them. Based on the reviews I bought the 8 1/2 which I usually wear. Wear the number 8 in more expensive sneakers. Worn them at home for a few days before a recent trip. Was later glad I didn't have enough room to take away. The shoe ended up looking more like a 9 after wearing it around town for a few days. There is plenty of space between the top of both legs and the top of the shoe. (even if you wear an instep in a shoe), otherwise you should assume they offer better arch support. Fits better with thicker socks. However, they have no problems with sweaty feet. Regardless of socks, they make my feet sweat. Hope this is helpful.
