This under counter lighting system works great. The lights are bright enough to provide task lighting in my kitchen and provide nice accent lighting under the cabinets. I liked that there is both a built in and remote switch so I can turn the light on while standing by in the kitchen or I can turn it off from across the house. I also liked that there is a built in lockout switch to disable the entire system. They give off a little more heat than I expected from LEDs, but I don't think contact with the cabinets would pose a fire hazard. These fixtures were easy to install. I liked that the lightweight pucks can be detached from the wiring harness and the connectors were small enough to be threaded through a fairly small hole drilled in the sides and bottom of the case to allow for hidden wiring in the cabinets . The adhesive backing that attaches the lights to the underside of the cabinets is too flimsy to stick to any surface contour, but a little double-sided 3M tape fixed that. good lights I ordered a second set for the other side of the kitchen. I hope the same remotes control them all!
